Matches in this game are mostly managed rather than played: you choose a formation and tactics, then auto matchplay handles the action. That suits managers more than anyone wanting direct control. The reasons to play anyway are real-time matches against rivals, the Elevens Match mode where 11 users form one team, and eClub Mode, where you build a club with a friend.
