OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 is single player, and one PlayStation Store purchase covers both the PS4 and PS5 downloads. You create your own protagonist, then rebuild a hometown by moving recruited companions and townspeople in. Battles use eight-member parties drawn from more than thirty companions, with Break and Boost deciding fights. Field commands let you invite townsfolk or challenge them. Assign abilities like gear, so companions can share learned skills.
