A player fortifies the castle, queues new buildings, then sends a force of recruited generals toward a neighboring kingdom. Behind that sit resource control and city upgrades, plus alliances that fight together in PvP battles. Generals come from history and legend, with Saladin, Caesar, Alexander and Joan of Arc named. The whole game is online and persistent. Progress depends on planning with an alliance, so solo play will move slowly. It suits players who like slow empire management and defending as much as attacking.
