A returning player opens the game to find rewards piled up from the time away, collects them, and upgrades a hero. Then comes the real decision: which heroes to line up together. Battles run on their own, so combat needs no manual control. Placement and hero traits change how each fight unfolds, and boss battles test the lineup. Progress is mostly automatic, which leaves little to do between fights.
