Matches run for ten minutes, and matchmaking takes about ten seconds. That pace shapes everything: laning, jungling, pushing and teamfighting all have to fit inside one short game. Two teams of five face off, and the opponents are real players rather than computer-controlled bots. Hero choice and team composition decide how each side plans its lanes. The ten-minute cap leaves little room for slow, drawn-out comebacks.
