With a single thumb tap, the hero levels up, and growth keeps running even while the game is closed. Between taps, you spend gains on spirits, recruits, magic circles and divine beasts, each with its own upgrade path. Alliances then fight over territory held by lords, and servers merge for joint battles once conditions are met. Costumes can be collected and worn. Control stays at one tap, so there is little depth in moment-to-moment combat.
