Ys: Memories of Celceta is a single-player game on PS4, so nothing needs a second person or a connection to other players. Adol, the series hero, sets out across the forbidden forest of Celceta, and combat is action-based with simple, fast battles. Story and music carry much of the weight. The Korean-language release also serves as the starting point for the later Ys VIII and Ys IX. Pick a quiet evening and expect a story-led trek.
