Progress carries on while the game is closed, since auto-battle earns rewards offline. Returning players can link a Classic Server account and transfer every hero to the Companions version. Clearing stages unlocks the full roster, and 10 free summons arrive each day. A shared hero pool lets you borrow friends' heroes for tough stages. Battles run themselves, so decisions stay at the lineup screen.
