Your empire starts as a small settlement in the medieval era and has to grow into a defended kingdom. Play centers on gathering resources, researching technologies and training troops, with each of the 8 civilizations fielding its own unit types. Alliances of players fight over cities in real-time battles, where archer towers, gates and central structures are the targets. Hundreds of allies can join one cause. Success depends on teamwork, so a solo approach will stall.
