Alucard explores one vast castle, and the game is built on jumping, dashing and slashing through it as an action RPG. That structure suits players comfortable with the series' classic console pace. Controller support is built in, and a new continue feature softens setbacks. Achievements are tied to hard-fought battle milestones. Nothing here has been reworked for touch beyond that, so anyone expecting a ground-up mobile redesign will find a direct port.
