The story begins in a locked dark room, where the player wakes with no memory of how they got there. A possessed instant camera links the living world with the beyond, and photos are developed by hand. Puzzles change between runs, and some events trigger at random. The PS5 version is single-player only. Exploration relies on searching and picking up objects.
