Six maps make up Scenario Mode, from Lewiston, Maine to a government Bunker, each set at a different time of day. Eight players share scarce supplies and talk through proximity voice chat. Infection can end a Responder permanently, so pills and gene therapy matter. Only one mode is described in any detail. Teams that coordinate gear and rely on one another will get further on PS5, Xbox Series X|S or PC.
