A science ship reaches a distant system, scans a strange anomaly, and the empire then decides whether to research it or send fleets toward a neighbouring alien civilization. Behind that sit resource management, space warfare and internal politics, where factions, policies and traditions shape the population. Galaxies are procedurally generated, so every map differs, and online multiplayer is supported on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Certain features require a Paradox Account. Sessions of this size ask for patience.
