There is no time limit, and progress auto-saves, so an unfinished grid can wait. Play is turn-based: you and an opponent draw letters from a deck and fill one crossword together while chasing the higher score. Clues sit inside the cells, Scandinavian style, and some are pictures. Hints are available when a word will not come. The scoring contest leaves no room for a quiet solo solve.
