Shelldiver is built on an incremental loop: catch jellyfish, sell them at the shop, spend the money on upgrades. That suits players who enjoy watching numbers climb while steering a submarine by hand. A bubble gun captures electric, mutant and exploding jellyfish, and a laser blaster breaks up trash and crystals for parts. Oxygen limits each dive across biomes from volcanic waters to crystalline caverns. Anyone wanting a story with real stakes or varied combat will find little here, as the core loop stays catch, sell and upgrade.
