Playing as Edward Kenway means splitting time between ship and shore: the Jackdaw handles naval battles with new alternate fire modes, while swords, pistols and the Hidden Blade cover fights on land. That split suits players who want sailing, stealth and boarding in one single-player campaign. Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet get new storylines, and three officers join the main narrative. Xbox Series X|S owners can reach it through Game Pass. Nothing here is built for co-op or shared play.
