Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Review
Thronebreaker is single player only, and every fight is a card battle. That rule shapes the whole role-playing side: Meve explores the map, then settles conflicts with her deck. Puzzles are mixed into the battles, so a board can ask for more than raw card strength. The story follows a war-veteran queen of Lyria and Rivia as Nilfgaard invades. It runs on PS4 and has no multiplayer to fall back on, so the campaign carries everything.

Explore the map as Queen Meve between battles
Build a deck of cards for each coming fight
Solve the puzzle boards that appear in some battles
Follow the story as Nilfgaard's invasion closes in
